Under the Tuscan sun, the movie involves Italian and North American (USA) cultures. You can see the differences in the communication style, style of life. I really like this movie and highly recommend it to you.

"New in Town", I appreciated the cultural differences between Zelleweger-big biz and the employees of the small town. The characters are warm and entertaining and I laughed out loud severl times. Once people realise that they are not only completely out of their comfort zone, but that there are major cultural differences between them, they move forward and acclimate to the new cultures in order to create a better situation for everyone.

Before the Rain. A harsh movie about ethnic conflicts and hatred in Macedonia. The truth is more complex than that, though :(

There is an old movie called: Green Card. George Faure is a Frenchman who has been offered a job in the U.S. But in order to get the job he must obtain a work permit - green card, and the easiest way is to marry an American.

Hi all, there's a delightful movie called 'Shirley Valentine' with Pauline Collins as the main character. Very funny and well acted. Much of the story plays in Greece and shows the possible differences between English and Greek culture, in my opinion. Another special movie is 'La double Vie de Veronique' by director Kieszlowski. Special because the main character seems to lead a double life both in France and Poland.
