Is anyone going to the Diversity Works event in Amsterdam next week?
Tues. 14th and Wed. 15th April, Voor alle hoogopgeleide vrouwen en hoogopgeleid multicultureel talent (m/v) is DiversityWorks de plek om in contact te komen met potentiële werkgevers/For all women and multicultural talent (m/f) with a higher education, DiversityWorks is the place to come into contact with potential employers.

Good news for the ones who search for a job: although the unemployment rate is higher than the last month, if we compare this month with March of last year, the level of unemployment is at the same level, not so not much change, au contraire, the women seem to do even better, they work in greater numbers than last year.

I've made visible the complete list of the discussion - it's easier to search :-)

As you know, every Saturday a local newspaper, Tubantia publishes job offers. Today I see many interesting ones. For example, SBR Delden is looking for a swimming teachers and “toezichthouders” . N.V.M is looking for people who want to work in marketing; there are also a few ICT offers.
Have a look yourself. Maybe you will find something for yourself.

Hello all. I lately arrived at the Netherlands, and I start to seek a job. I must say I feel a certain ''blocking'' owing to the fact I don't speak dutch, moreover my English is far from being perfect. I'm a little frightened but I don't lose hope! What I'd prefer to do is to teach French. If you hear something… I don't know if it is very convenient to ask the question here, but if somebody knows where I can find a list of language schools and a list of volunteers' associations, charitable, humanitarian associations, I shall be very interested, thank you in advance !!

I'm very glad to find this group. I am currently looking for work and would love to also further my Dutch language skills. I've had a difficult time finding work when I have searched, but I'm determined. Even if I must go back to school. Thanks for the tips I've found on the comments so far, and I'll share whatever I come to learn in my job hunt process ;)
