- What I like most is to do anything creative, from painting to making objects (from things nature gives me) and from writing stories to playing theatre. I appreciate a good book (just ordered Mao's Last Dancer) and love to see a good movie ('Atanarjuat', 'Cherry Blossom' and 'As it is in Heaven' which makes me cry everytime I watch it). Someone called me 'an adventurous eater' because I like to try anything, although Asian is my favorite.

it may have seemed quiet from my side but, oh boy, can I tell you how busy it has been lately!
Moving into a house
where a lot of the walls were painted black (where I like bright colours),
where a new kitchen has to be placed (so there's no oppurtunity to cook now)
where a wall had to be removed and another one fixed,
where a stack of wood had to be made into a floor,
where everything had to be put into boxes, moved and put into closets that aren't there yet,

cross cultural opportunity: wanna give a hand?
how would you like to give a hand in creating a wonderful place?
On May 19th I will get the key of my new home and I'm desperately looking for some nice people to lend me a hand in painting and cleaning. Even more needed are some nice guys who would really like to do some craftsmen work: putting in a wooden floor!
I can assure you that there will be enough material, good food and drinks, good vibrations and good music (otherwise we sing our own songs).

Ik weet ook niet of ik naar de Picnic kan komen, wou misschien ook naar de Kunst in Vondelpark gaan kijken. Allemaal een beetje afhankelijk van het weer denk ik. Ben je pas verhuisd of zo ?

Thank you very much! I think they will start it after the summer holiday. Maybe we can do go there together then.
I have found via Google that there will be a biodanza workshop in Atak on 29 May. I might attend it.
I hope you get enough help the coming weeks and get settled in the new place.
